With your help (and the support of our partners and allies) we can ensure the annual celebrations for Windrush Day & Black History Month continue to be a great success for the city of Sheffield.

Please let us know if your organisation is currently planning any African heritage-themed cultural events in the near future.

Even if your organisation is well advanced in its event planning; or would like your African heritage-themed event(s) (or related job opportunities for BME creatives), to be listed by the Forum, we would love to hear from you.

Our Pledge

To work collaboratively with partners and other allies to ensure the city’s cultural celebrations of key African heritage-themed events (with authentic recognition of the key contributions made to the city by individuals from the African heritage community) are positive, authentic, diverse, equitably funded and fully accessible for all communities (and visitors to the City of Sheffield) to enjoy.
